All MCKB solder-free adapters are exclusively designed for NXP‑Killer (Limited / Unlimited) programmers. The device supports fully offline button operation with no computer or software required. It completes reading, resetting and cloning of NCF29XX smart key chips independently, with no vehicle OBD matching function. MCKB adapters are optional efficiency accessories instead of mandatory parts. Professional locksmiths can complete operations by flying-wire soldering. Key PCBs shown in product images are for demonstration only and not included in the package.
NXP KILLER MCKB PCB Adapter Selection Rules
1. Brand/Model Specific Adapters (First Choice)
Each brand and version of smart key PCB has a corresponding dedicated MCKB adapter. Core selection rule: Identical key shell appearance does not mean the same internal PCB pin layout. Different PCB hardware revisions require matched exclusive adapters and are completely non-interchangeable. For GAC Trumpchi smart keys, 7 different MCKB adapters (037/068/069/109/110/111/112) are available for different generations and PCB versions, with no compatibility between each other.
2. MCKB‑049 Universal Adapter (Fallback Solution)
If there is no dedicated MCKB adapter for the target NCF29XX smart key PCB, use the MCKB‑049 universal adapter with Dupont wires or probes to manually connect chip pins for reading and writing. Disclaimer: MCKB‑049 is incompatible with key PCBs with irregular pin layouts or specially modified circuits. It cannot be 100% compatible with all NCF29XX chips. Reading/writing failure on special modified boards does not count as product quality defect.
3. Strict Compatibility Restriction
All MCKB adapters are natively and exclusively compatible with NXP‑Killer programmers only. Though the hardware fixture can be manually rewired to fit third-party programmers such as NK001, VVDI and KD, unofficial modified usage is not supported officially. No technical assistance will be provided, and all hardware damage caused by rewiring and third-party device use is excluded from warranty coverage.
Two Operation Methods of NXP KILLER MCKB PCB Adapter
Method A: Solder‑Free Clip Operation (Recommended)
1. Select the exclusive MCKB adapter that fully matches the hardware version and pin layout of the key PCB;
2. Embed and fix the key PCB firmly into the adapter, ensure complete, stable and tight contact of all metal pins without offset or loose connection;
3. Connect the MCKB adapter to the NXP‑Killer main unit with the dedicated cable;
4. No computer or software required. Operate directly via physical buttons on the NXP‑Killer main unit;
5. Follow standard offline button operations to complete chip reading, resetting and clone writing;
6. Power off the device and remove the key PCB after operation. No soldering or high-temperature operation is required.
Method B: Manual Flying‑Wire Soldering (Expert Only)
NXP‑Killer devices can work normally without MCKB adapters, which are only convenient auxiliary accessories. Experienced professional locksmiths can solder flying wires to 5 core pins (VCC, GND, SDA, SCL, WAKE) strictly according to official pin definitions to complete chip reading and cloning.
⚠️
Risk warning: Operational errors such as wrong soldering position, virtual soldering and short circuit will burn out key chips and PCBs directly. All hardware damage caused by manual soldering is not covered by warranty.
Device Operation Instruction
The NXP‑Killer is a fully offline standalone device. No computer, software installation or network connection is required. All chip reading, resetting and cloning operations are completed via physical buttons on the device. All MCKB solder-free adapters are fully compatible withall NXP‑Killer versions, including the Limited Version (4 write tokens) and Unlimited Version (unlimited write times). The two versions share identical hardware and button operation logic, only differing in write token quotas, which does not affect adapter compatibility.
Version Compatibility
All MCKB solder-free adapters are fully compatible with all NXP‑Killer versions, including the Limited Version (4 write tokens) and Unlimited Version (unlimited write times). The two versions share identical hardware interfaces and software communication protocols, only differing in write token quotas, which does not affect adapter compatibility.
Frequently Asked Questions
2. Key PCBs in product images are for functional demonstration only, not included in the package.
3. Damage caused by manual soldering, private rewiring or usage with third-party programmers will void the warranty permanently.
4. MCKB adapters are precision consumables. Spring and contact wear caused by long-term repeated use is normal loss and not covered by warranty.
5. MCKB‑049 has inherent compatibility limitations and cannot fit all modified or special-shaped key PCBs. Compatibility failure on special boards is not a product quality issue.
Q1: Do I need a computer or software to use the MCKB adapter?A1:No. NXP‑Killer supports full offline operation. All functions work via device physical buttons, with no computer, software or network required.
Q2: Can different MCKB adapters be mixed and used for different car models?A2:No. Identical key shells do not mean the same PCB pin layout. Each key PCB matches an exclusive adapter. Mixing different adapters causes read/write failure or chip short circuit. Use MCKB‑049 universal adapter if no dedicated board is available.
Q3: Can MCKB adapters work with other programmers such as VVDI, KD and NK001?
A3:No native compatibility. Only for NXP‑Killer. Manual rewiring for third-party devices is unofficial modification, with no technical support and voided warranty.
Q4: Are MCKB adapters compatible with both NXP‑Killer Limited and Unlimited versions?A4:Fully compatible with both NXP‑Killer Limited and Unlimited versions.
Q5: Are the car key PCBs shown in the pictures included in the product?A5:Key PCBs in images are for demonstration only and not included in the package.
